What a delightful treat! Each element was executed to near perfection. I personally applaud the decision to keep the challenge fairly light. It gave me more of a chance to absorb the game's excellent atmosphere.
I noticed you credited several friends with assisting in play testing. This really shows in the final product, the experience is so smooth and pleasant.
Thanks so much! Yes, a lot of playtesting was done with over 10+ friends, its the most uncomfortable part of the development process but gives the most amount of insight! The game changes a lot from feedback and i value it highly
Amazing art style!!!
What a perfectly made game jam game! The quality is top notch!
Perfect bite-sized game, used the theme as a main mechanic very nicely.
A satisfying little game with a very cute aesthetic! I chose not to read the manual but was still able to figure everything out through trial and error which is a great sign of proper game design.
really fun game! powering up the missile feels really good and i enjoyed the puzzles, amazing pixel art too!
stunning art, pretty funny and enjoyable gameplay loop, win contender for sure
reminds me of sub systems, very good.
Reminds me of sub systems too.
I honestly love it! Almost like a mix of Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime and FNAF, the artstyle is simple but very well done!
This game is a fully realized 2d version of the last game my team worked on for a different game jam. Although yours is actually complete :) We were clearly on a similar wavelength from clicking through different parts of the ship, to a crane game! It’s executed so well, the only thing it’s missing is a killer soundtrack. Nicely done!
A very flattering compliment! What's actually hilarious is that this game was ALSO a fully realized version of the last game jam I ended up doing. I did finish it, but I didn't have any time to even make basic art for it (it was around two days long?) But, this games ideas was directly built off the previous which really helped in the initial stages of blocking out the mechanics!
I am confident with my art skills, and as a beginner programmer, I also feel like my coding skills are solidifying more with each project I throw myself at, it's such a rush to get this far with it this time around and I'm hoping I'll be able to tackle music and audio proper on a future project/game jam I take on!
Just brilliant all around. Gorgeous sprite work, novel gameplay. The A&L to fire was really immersive and fun. Genuinely fantastic entry
That's some high praise! Thank you so much!
The art in this game is unbeatable honestly, I love the style. Interesting game concept too.
Great Game, I would like to play more levels/ see additional mechanics
It's really fun managing the different sub-systems (ha) and short enough to not overstay its welcome. Really creative game design here.
Short and sweet. Really well made!
This is incredibly fun for how simple it is. Great job! I love the art style, the puzzles were fun and my favorite part was the missile system.
Loved this! Super sweet and simple but everything feels purposeful and perfectly tuned. I enjoyed every second!
Beautiful design.
Great color palette and mechanics! Everything works so well together from firing the missiles to solving the fun puzzles.
Awesome, nice little game!
Loved your little game! Reminds me of Iron Lung
