Cool character, fun sprites and environment!

Managed to beat the game and you bet I did absolutely enjoy the music once doing so! Cool stuff! :D

Definitely a second possible running for a title! :P

I'm glad you enjoy the sprites and animation! :D I worked pretty hard on those li'l dudes so I'm glad it worked out! Thank you for playing!

So glad you took the time to play the game and I'm happy you enjoyed it! :D

The team worked really hard on the cool story intro, happy that you liked that too! The game can definitely be unforgiving with the lack of checkpoints, for sure... There was a little worry it might be much too short of an experience otherwise, but it ended up kinda brutal. :P

Glad the overall experience was still pleasant for you! :D

Sorry the controls were a bit tough, there really isn't too much time to learn them when you're dropped in admittedly. Thanks for playing though!

We were considering doing the checkpoints at the stages but it was pretty late in creation and we couldn't get it to work right in time. Definitely something we'd consider in a post-jam release of the game.

Glad that you enjoyed it still! :D

Thanks for playing the game, glad you enjoyed the game! :D

Hitting an enemy with more speed does send them flying a little bit further, but we were hoping to let them hit other ice as well... Maybe post-jam!

Yeah, with more time we definitely wanted to have more of a starter tutorial area that taught the game mechanics to the player... Pushing ice into the lava does slow the lava destroying the stage, but shattering an enemy gives health!

Glad even without much anime knowledge the tropes weren't completely alien at least! :D

Thanks for the kind words! :D Glad you enjoyed the art and mechanics and had some fun with our game!

Very glad you enjoyed it and had fun redecorating the map(s) for the movement! :D

Thank you! We wanted to encourage players set up their own play area and utilize sliding a bunch! :D

Glad you like the intro cutscene, seems to be a big hit! :P

Thank you very much! :D

So glad you enjoyed the game and its mechanics, we were quite happy with how everything turned out! We wanted a nice game with ice that would be fun to interact with rather than a downside! The whole team really gave it their all and I'm glad it shows!

Thank you very much, happy to hear you enjoyed it! We certainly tried! :D

Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for playing! :D

This game was super awesome!! I really love the oil splatter and the shader used on it to make it shimmer. The slide effect looked great, the combat felt good, the music was boppin' (played until the music stopped and didn't loop), the spritework was really cool!

I think if I had to pick anything to complain about, I wish there was more to it? Like a score or leveling up and getting perks or a boss fight or something. I'm sure it was entirely because of the time limit, but this game kicks ass! Really awesome work!

I figured out the true trick to getting a highscore after struggling with the steering a bit... Just riding a big circle around the map over and over and let the cars defeat themselves. :P

I wish maybe the borders of the map didn't kill you but maybe looped you around... The steering is just a bit too slow compared to how fast you go so it's difficult to move around comfortably with all the obstacles on all sides of you. :(

Was pretty cool though, like how it looked!

Definitely a cool start to a game! Movement felt pretty good and the combat, while fairly simple was pretty satisfying for how long the game lasted at least! Beat the boss, woo

Super cool looking game for sure! The pulsating obstacles moving to the music both look cool and add a fun little variety and challenge. Definitely feels like a good start for a larger game, the visuals are quite slick! There was a moment where the entire floor showed up as opaque rather than just pink bars and it flashed and jittered a bit, but it was only for a little bit!

Really cool looking game for sure! The brief movement of walking around as my gachapon prize is certainly a highlight, they are quite cute! I feel like turning the crank requires a LOT of clicking, haha.

Pretty stylish game to be sure, clever making a nice map that can be used for multiple mini-games!

I got to floor 22... I sorta wish there was more to this, the game LOOKS clean! Needed some sounds, maybe some actual setback to losing vision besides it just being a little blurrier. Maybe a cooldown on firerate and reload?

Nice looking game for sure though!

Man that turning was absurd, haha. I almost played the game to completion, made it to round 19, but then a car ran me over at spawn and it generated too many particles and crashed the game with a bit a memory leak. :(

But I liked the idea! Was neat

Really neat concept, but the hitbox on the sword was rough... And I thought maybe that the music was a tad loud and the options button just starts the game instead of bringing up options...

But the art is cool and the idea is really solid! :D

Really cool art and animations! The movement did indeed feel a bit shnasty for sure! Ice balls got stuck in the ground sometimes if I shot while jumping and the wall kick feels a tad short in height, but the base for a game is totally there!

The art style is cool, the music was interesting, I wish the goal was at least a little bit bigger... Rounds would go on forever and I eventually won by just parking my paddle over my goal.

The sound effects were really great though, the bounces and hits felt pretty solid! The max movement speed of the puck was maybe a bit too high and the paddle's speed was maybe a tad slow, but overall pretty cool!

This game totally rocks. It feels good to play, the music is nice, I took a little longer than I cared to admit to learn that I could slide continuously, but it was super rad. The sprites are cool, the animations are slick, the combat takes a second to learn but feels nice with the balance of time and health!

Super fantastic work!

A pretty simple experience, but tough to be sure. Got the job done, slow and steady wins the race here. Floors seemed pretty darn slick to be sure.

This game is super awesome! I really like the art style, the deck building on a grid felt really cool! I really should've tried to get more movement cards, 'twas my downfall. :(

I can't really complain about anything. There were a couple of times when enemy arrows maybe didn't disappear in time, but that's about it. Really slick game for sure!

Really fun ragdoll and some pretty cool gameplay! The very beginning of the game had me falling off the map for a long time which kinda started me with quite a handicap and I couldn't climb back, but I tried! Was a neat little game for sure!

Absolutely understandable. Still a super slick product as it is, you guys did awesome!

Thank you so very much! I'm glad that you played and enjoyed it! :D

I'm glad that you enjoyed the game! We wanted to try to make a game where the ice wasn't going to be annoying to play on.

Our team members RagingClue did all the wonderful art and storyboard for that intro and provided the voices of the mom and  penguin in distress, xoDucks assembled it in engine and helped with some various voices, DrHoodie did the lead character voice acting, and EMCIEL helped make all the sounds and voices feel at home in the retro theming! They did really great on it! :D

Unfortunately there is a bug that we didn't know about before launch that was almost immediately brought to our attention where being on ice over lava that has even the slightest gap in it (even just in hitbox, not necessarily visibly) can cause you to enter an endless falling state. :/

Glad that you enjoyed the game overall though! Thank you for playing!

This game is just oozing with style! Our dude is just so expressive and fun to watch, maybe even distractingly so while I'm trying to make them sound good for the fellow metro riders. The song is cool, the art is fantastic, even just the game page looks really fun and awesome!

It would be maybe nice to have some scrolling bars to help visualize the BPM and maybe see where some of the notes fall on the beat, but this was a really cool experience I played a couple times! ...I'm naturally not too great at rhythm games, but I got a 2737? Yay. :D

This game is pretty awesome! I like the minimalistic art style of the stages and the colors of them, the main character is super adorable and the base of the movement mechanics are there! The stages are small enough and easy to learn that you can speedrun them pretty well, but I do wish there maybe was a little direction on where to go via maybe a directional pointer or maybe having the room start zoomed out to give you a rough mental layout.

I wish there was a way to restart a stage, maybe control my jump height a little better, and I wish the walls weren't quite SO sticky if trying to jump from the ground while already pressed against a wall.

I think this game is super awesome still, and the sprites and animations of the lead character are so fun! Such a silly run cycle, I love making them go fast!

Very slick visuals, the card game is pretty neat but it took a while to understand how it worked. I saw in a previous comment someone else mentioned not understanding the ranking of the face cards and I was in a similar boat, but once I got the hang of it, it was pretty cool!

The animations are solid, the cute art style on the cards is great! I found actually performing someone of the cheats a little difficult to understand what I was doing on first use, but it's fine! I think my only real complaint was that I couldn't find a simple way to conclude the game or close it, at least after I had started another rematch

I was a little worried at the start it would just be an entirely luck-based game when the practice round had me just playing Rock, Paper, Scissors, but I was pleasantly surprised as the game continued and it evolved into a bit of a luck/strategy game. I can say I successfully made it into S.L.I.C.K.!

I had a couple of issues, I'm glad that you could hover over the enemy's equipment to see what they had, but especially with the machete it was hard to see if the enemy had it equipped just from a glance... And there was a time or two when we BOTH used brass knuckles, both had an upgraded weapon, and I technically won the Rock/Paper/Scissors, but they got the point somehow? Not sure.

Was a cool little game overall!

I thought this game was pretty rad! I liked the idea, the absolute EXPLOSION of dice was fantastic, but like the others it sounds like, cup bug prevented me from seeing beyond round 2... And I really tried clicking all over the dang place. :(

But a completely wonderful experience either way with some dark, atmospheric visuals!

Absolutely! I think the biggest issue with the arrows was pushing a box in the bottom row to the left, it actually stopped on an arrow. I think it might have been the hitbox of the room's lockdown barrier, but it was one of the first pushes I tried so I thought the arrows stopped the boxes. :P
I figured it out eventually though!

The movement on this was super fast, but the game overall was really cool! The bullet time shooting felt good and was fun to use, the sprites and music were really awesome, but I feel like the hitbox on the player or maybe just the toxic goop on the ground was pretty brutal at times.

Managed to beat the whole thing, the boss was neat! Window to kill them made it take a few tries...

I really like the graphic made for the game's icon(?) here on this page though, really fun use of some 3D as well!

The character art and spritework look really good! The music is pretty cool, the story seems pretty complex, even with just the surface level view of it from this jam version of the game! Looks like a solid base for a larger game project!

I might have solved the box sliding puzzle but I did not solve the mystery of what the pink arrows meant or did on the floor of that room, haha.

This had a cool title screen and some really solid stock photos going for it. The controls take a little bit to get used to, but I played as a raccoon and I got a pizza so it's really a very good video game.

Super interesting concept! The controls are kinda tough to work with especially when things get slippery, but the models are cool, the animations are nice, the limited color palette with the fun dithering effect created from the light sources are cool! The cats are definitely slick.
