How does your game represent "Power"?
A Part Together uses `power` in the older platformer sense of a new `power` or `ability. Such as Mario picking up the flower power and getting the `power` to shoot fireballs. In A Part Together, you can steal the powers of the enemies you kill to help you achieve better platforming, abilities, and attacks.

Very fun and creative take for the game jam :D I loved the design it was very charming - The camera was bit weird but other than that very fun
Thanks <3! The camera and movement are less than ideal haha. It was all in an attempt to have momentum based hard platforming. I should have just stuck with one major thing in the game, oh well :D
I liked the ideas-- the gameplay mechanic of swapping out parts and ending up with abominations was interesting and funny. Combined with the graphics (which I liked), the experience was interesting and charming!
<3 Thanks thats a very sweet post. Did you find the game's movement a little clunky?
I thought the movement felt a weird because the camera control made movement tricky at times. Though probably because 1) I was playing using mouse and keyboard and 2) I played on the browser, so please take that feedback as you will because I do know that you strongly recommended to use a controller.
No I appreciate the feedback. The game uses momentum based movement, which is isn't common I don't think for that type of platforming. The camera is partially done the way it is so you can set it in a perspective and handle platforming without it shifting too much. Its all unusual and I wish I hadn't focused on it as much. I should have just focused on the parts mechanic lol, oh well!
Love the idea super creative
<3 Thank you!
fun game! The way the dog jumps gets me every time haha! good job :)
Thanks! I must have spent more than 40% of the dev time getting the leg armatures to work in a cross species manor and they still don't work the best lol. Oh well live and learn!
this game is silly in a great way
goofy aspect to the game is spot on
made me laugh a lot
Thanks, this is the first game that had me literally LOLing during development. I loved creating Annoying Bird, I just imagined a washed out N64 character whose annoyed at modern graphics and games.

So wacky, I like it. The style is very charming! :)
Thanks! I definitely bit off to much, but I'm really happy with the creature design. They still look so stupid and each with their own messed up character.
Frog head is the meta.
Frog Head -> Bunny Body -> Dog Legs -> Gun Arm
Haha nice! Do you prefer turret gun arms or armature gun arms?
I feel like the meta changes for the Pepe wings challenge. That was made too hard mbmb 😞
Hmmm... idk. I don't know if I found the turret gun arms. Does it depend on what body you have? It seemed like I could hit stuff easier with the guns on the rabbit body but it is a little hard to tell.
I went back and explored some more after I saw your comment and I was shocked to find that it had saved my progress! That detail is very much appreciated. I had assumed that the "new game" vs "continue" options were just placeholder.
I did eventually give up trying to parkour through the wings segment and would just YOLO at it with the frog head. Not sure if that was the best strategy in actuality though. XD
Haha theres no best strategy only the one that works! But can you do it with the frog strategy, hahaa I kept failing with it.
Also thanks again :)
:D I added a screenshot of the `meta`. Thanks for the tip.
Haha! That's awesome!
Hyper ambitious game and huge fan of the goofy dog model! Impressive story, world building and your UI design is top notch, really appreciated how user friendly it was. Had me laughing and emotionally invested to bring back Pepe. Fantastic work!
Thanks for playing! I was way too ambitious. I should have just focused on momentum in a platformer lol. Having to balance out 2k worth of parts combinations was impossible haha.
I really love the models, they are so dopy and really gave the game the vibe I was going for. My favorite is Annoying Bird. He like an washed up N64 character that's mad the graphics have moved on.
This was fun and interesting! It reminded me of N64 era gameplay. Nice job on it!
Thanks it took a heavy inspiration from Space Station Silicon Valley. Ultimately I think I bit off way to much for this game jam lol.
Oh man! I knew this reminded me of something! I was thinking Banjo Kazooie and Grow Home. I'd completely forgotten about Space Station Silicon Valley. Great work!
Thanks, it's particular inspired by tarkov as well oddly enough haha
Really funny with some cool ideas! I hate that damn bird.
Lol thanks for play! That damn Annoying Bird.
Not sure if you were inspired by the N64 game Space Station Silicon Valley, but this definitely has many similarities to that game. I wasn't able to make it very far because I kept dying, but I found the animal combinations to be very amusing! I also had some trouble trying to start the game with a controller so I had to use mouse + keyboard.
Thanks for check it out! Space station silicon valley had a huge impact on me as a kid. I always wanted to modernize the concept lol. The games also inspired a bit by tarkov haha.
I tried to do both the animal parts and momentum platforming. I should have picked just one thing to focus on.
To get the controller to work it's a bit wonky, you have to stop touching the mouse and keyboard and click a buttons on the controller.
I am spider dog
Haha did he "depart" you as much as he did me...
frog with propeller on head is peak game design. Had fun with it, good job!
Did you try equipping its head? Low key S tier build IMO, kinda broken haha..
