Solid game through and through. From the animation to how the theme was implemented. This gave me Titanfall vibes. Thank you
Really cool game with great aesthetics, I kind of wish there were an animation showcase so you could see all the animations put into the game, they clearly have a lot of work and polish put into them. The tank upgrades get really good really fast, there's just sort of a lack of gamefeel when it comes to things like shooting bullets or taking damage. Would definitely benefit from a sound effect, particle combo, or animation to accompany a lot of the events happening. All in all a solid concept though, I would like to see more from this game!
Thank you! I spent awhile on the animations haha
We are hoping to put out a post-jam version of the game at some point so we'll keep your feedback in mind for that ! :)
That was a great game! Very fun and I loved the music too!
This is a fantastic game idea! It's a really simple yet effective game loop. Great animations and I really like how the music is layered that is a super nice touch. I do think some of the upgrades were not as balanced as others, but it was satisfying being able to unlock them nonetheless. Good job!
Thanks for playing! We plan on improving the game, so the feedback is very valuable!
Would it be possible for you to let us know what upgrades do you feel were imbalanced? How could these be improved?
Again, thanks for checking out the game!
Upgrading fire rate and shooting multiple bullets was super strong for the cost it felt like a necessity to get those!
Thank you so much!
I love the art style and the animations you guys implemented! The upgrade system works great and I love getting out of the tank to grab all the parts!
Hey everyone, thank you so much for playing! We’re planning on updating the game over the new year, so feel free to follow us on twitter @team_stingray_
Man those animations are awesome. I saw the pterodactyl and was impressed then saw the big guy that's sketchy af and couldn't help but chuckle. Great execution, really enjoyed the game.
haha thanks for checking out our game !
I did most of the art for the game and finding out last-minute that we were going to implement another enemy (the big guy) definitely made me sweat. I wanted to polish and colour the animations for everything but we didn't have time rip
We are planning to work on it again in the new-year so that would include finishing off all those animations.. 👀
LETS GOO! I'm here for it. And I've been there before. "I'm sorry you wanna add WHAT?!" lol Can't wait to see more of your art in other games. <3
Really enjoyed this one! Great idea and execution - the dynamic music is a fantastic detail! Plenty of different upgrades, and always felt nervous getting out of my tank to collect the gears haha. Great work, really nailed it!
Hey! I'm glad you enjoyed it !!
We plan to work on it more in the new year to add polish and incorporate any feedback we get from the game jam . Thanks for checking out our game ! :)
Really cool game concept and art style! The gameplay loop is satisfying and the dynamic music sounds great. The game seems quite unforgiving in man-mode. I was sure I was in the clear to collect scrap when suddenly I got knocked back to the start. Maybe more hitpoints or checkpoint system would help with the frustration of starting from the beginning. Also some sound effects would have been a nice addition. Overall a really good entry for the jam!
Hey there, thank you so much for playing! This feedback is very helpful! We plan to work more on the game up to the new year, implementing quality-of-life features and the feedback you provided. Thanks again!
