I really enjoyed this, though I think it's just too hard.
It's rather difficult to avoid the enemy projectiles. Snaking my way around mostly worked, but didn't feel super fun. I reckon the enemy projectiles could have been slower too.
Also dying immediately after crashing into a rock or the shore just seems way too harsh.

My inputs got stuck a few times resulting in death which was rather frustrating, but that might have been a me problem.

I think it might have been a little too difficult to get far enough to see what makes the game special based on the other comments. Well implemented, polished and complete game though!

The cannon ball could be slower XD Very fun and intuitive game.

550 points I need to play for a while to understand the movement and overall a very good impression. :)

174 points then I sailed into a boulder with full health because I wasn't paying attention. I thought the game was too hard because bullets were impossible to dodge, but I figured out a strategy. Fun game, but I didn't get how the theme comes into play.

The side-effects will be noticible when you progress further. With my friend we managed to upgrade our weapon into a machine-gun. There is this funny math going on when you pick up power-up and health. It will not only upgrade your weapon for 7 seconds but it will slightly improve your shooting rate and turn rate persistently.

Got it. I completely didn't notice the treasure chests the first time I played. In my mind I guess they were an obstacle to avoid like the driftwood. There should probably be some indication that the treasure chests are good and you want to bump into them, like a glow effect or an animation, or something.

Definitely, I was also thinking that, but it got out of my head after I started to work on the pirate ships.

Fun - love sailing games! - but difficult not to take a lot of hits.

Not sure where "side effects" comes into play, but I really like how the tutorial looks like it's written by an actual pirate.

Same reply just as above:

Couldn’t get very far, but I liked the controls for the boat. It was very hard to dodge some of the shots. Especially when there were multiple cannons.
