could not find anything to do in this game except walk around and throw snowballs.
snow is extremely, glaringly bright white. all games with snow should have some kind of interactable snow, in my opinion, whether that's mesh deformation, shaders, decals, etc. and added shader effects like subsurface scattering and crystals can go a long way too
I think the head clips a little bit through the hat during a part of the jumping animation but besides that the gnome is looking great, exceptional gnome.
I like the model, he is very charming. His head clips through his hat in the back a tiny bit, but that's easily solved.
As Tomo said, jumping feels like I'm on the moon. It could work though: moon gnome. Gnoomes? Think about it...
Anyway, the only valuable bit of feedback I have would be the camera controls. Can't rotate the camera around my gnome to see the surroundings? I thought that was very lacking. Everything else is sweet, though.
Movement works, but is very floaty. Gathering Snowballs is very slow and I can apparently store endless amounts. I can throw Snowballs from anywhere, while moving, while jumping/falling, no restraints on that. Plays the standing Animation for all of that tho, looks odd. Otherwise cute Gnome, but I don't get the 64 in the Name. If its supposed to emulate N64-Era looks, feels or something, it fails at that.
Thanks for playing the prototype. You can throw snowballs from anywhere because you are going to need to throw snowballs at targets at certain heights and I thought it was funny. I tried making it so you could only throw snowballs while standing still/it would force you to stand still and it wasn't fun. I'll see what I can do about the floaty aspect but it might make some of the puzzles/goals a lot harder to hit.
The 64 in the name is literally something I came up with while submitting the project. I don't even know why I did it either, lmao.

I could find no Scarecrows to speak of. Is there an upper cap on how many snowballs you can carry?

Gnome looks so good I could eat it, good job.
Your art has improved a lot. Please add beard physics!
