-minimizing the game makes it disappear (???) can't get back into the game after writing here
-running the exe again (when it's disappeared) launches a new instance, which has mouse locked to a corner
-alt-enter does the same thing -- I have no idea how you managed to make it do all this
-alt-tab kinda works though -- it still keeps the window maximized, but in the background at least
-alt-tab still tracks mouse, spinning the camera
-all this is before even playing the game, windowed mode would be a good temporary solution - I can't find it

-I appreciate RMB as [Back] a lot, thanks
-selecting the character on every death feels off, I'd autorestart with the same one
-first person mode seems to put you at a disadvantage vs third person
-I enjoy the ambient music
-barrel coins feels like shit design, not hitting them is objectively bad, hitting them is tedious
-poison guy seems weak vs fighter since the poison is both hard to aim and does little damage
-oh, the starting charaters seem to be RNGd
-movement doesn't feel precise enough for the precision required by the physical obstacle parts
-mobs not activating traps feels cheap
-when entering a new level, consider refilling health, since dying resets you with full health at that point anyway
-I'd want the mouse to auto-attack if being held as soon as that's possible

I got to 2-2 in the tower.
Overall, I liked it quite a bit.

I really enjoyed this demo! Played through and beat the boss, had alot of fun!

Some notes -

  • The character generation can REALLY set you up for success - I was struggling until it gave me a fighter with great stats, and then I pretty  much steamrolled everything
  • Bats can be really tough to spot, maybe give them little red/white eyes or something?
  • It seemed like the cultists couldn't be hurt by spikes, but the little goblins could
  • It seems odd that cultists' fire won't burn other enemies, but trap fire will? I can understand where it'd be too easy to get cultists to nuke each other but it's a bit inconsistent
  • The fighter's dash is a fun move, but the extreme FOV effect makes it really hard to judge how far you dash, or where you'll wind up, and got me into a tight spot a few times where I couldn't tell where I had wound up and got mobbed
  • Any plans/features for sweep attacks that can hit multiple targets? I had a pretty nice sword that I got from loot but it still felt weak because I couldn't hit two guys that were right next to each other
  • Got the error below when I first tried to pick a character (clicked on play, clicked on CAMP, it had me choose a character, then this got thrown). Only happened once, game worked fine after that.

Thank you for playing!

-Bats (batbird mutants, lol) can be hard to spot indead, I'll think how to fix this, I don't really want add visible eyes to them for now though.
-Yes, goblins can die on spikes, and cultists don't as they know those traps very well (those goblins are kind of drugged by cultists, so they don't think with a clear head).
-As for flames that is something like faction related damage, but cultist can burn bats, and poisonous bats can spit on cultists (if mobs get in the way of each other attacks), as bats don't have faction, usually they don't attack cultists for no reason 'cause they got used to see each other.
-Power Charge of fighter gives you ability to strike (if weapon attack pressed in process and you have enough power points) for extra damage to a few targets (default - 2 targets, with Mob Slayer upgrade - up to 4 targets), and I will add more sweep melee abilities later in development.
-Yay, thank you for this bug report, I do catch some strange bugs from time to time when trying to create a new char at camp with new save files, thought I fixed it already, lol.

This is good! I got a bit annoyed with the loot, until the third floor all I got were coins and potions.

Had an issue with the mouse control, even with the horizontal sensitivity at it's lowest it was rotating too fast. Another problem I had was when I tried to talk to the first NPC: I was too close and didn't see the text until the very end.

I'll think how to make loot drop more frequently, but not too much. I just don't want it going to overflow player's inventory with trash items. About mouse control, yeah, I've been gotten that problem with large displays earlier, thought I fixed it. What is a resolution of your monitor? As for npc, it can be seen better in third-person camera mode, but it looks like I'll have to redo this in dialogue system, something more like morrowind style.

Thank you for playing my game!

>What is a resolution of your monitor?

I played the game in a system with two 1080p monitors, the game was displayed on only one of them and I think I was using a 400dpi mouse.

It's fun. Sometimes the bats will blend into the background.

Thank you for playing! :)

Guys, if you have saves from previous versions you should restart with a new char to rewrite old one and prevent errors.
