What do you like about your game?
I like my card visual effects and tearing the cards up. I also think the rather short gameplay I designed around tearing cards has potential for post-development, if I dedicated more time to create special cards with unique effects for it.

You said it's not a serious game, but between being a bit confused, your write-up about tearing* cards and its general ambiance, it gave me an inscryption kind of vibe, not in a dreadful way, but in that I was playing an otherworldly being who was revealing me the secrets of the universe while/by playing cards.
*There's an old cool MTG story about that kind of thing, look up Rhystic Studies' "The Orb | A History of Magic's Early Years" video, if you're unaware of it, you're gonna like it :)
I actually never played MTG but I know of Chaos Orb haha, one of my overscoped ideas is similar to Chaos Orb's effect :) I should really try MTG one day
I was confused as to how I was winning (or losing) but this seems quite interesting and is an interesting, creative spin on the genre! Good job!
The graphics are good but yeah I didn't understand the gameplay. Maybe in future you will add a tutorial in the game on how to play.
Still good job and congrats on making a game you wanted!!!
Graphics are cool, but it was rather unclear what to do and how the cards work.
Cool game! I am not exactly sure how card score is determined, or what cards I am getting round to round, But things became clearer when I read the instructions.
The gameplay is nice. I think. I couldn't experience too much of it because I got stuck pretty early on. Which makes me hesitate to rate this game, since I don't know it that well.
(SPOILERS)
It seems like it is possible to tear cards in this game. The instruction just state that it is done "with a mouse", unfortunately I have no idea how to do it. Oh well.
Is there a reason why we can't take the played cards off the fields?
Unfortunately, I got stuck on place where we need a card with "a broken heart". No combination of cards would let me through. I am not sure if this is intended or not. But if it is it would be nice to have a "start again" button. I think I was missing an Ace of Hearts, but never got it.
Hey thanks for trying the game! Sorry it was never explicitly explained in the game, but tearing cards is possible by dragging from the top corners of the cards. To pass with a broken heart, you need to play torn cards with at least 2 half hearts.
Regarding the played cards on the field, once you play it, it is confirmed, so you can't take it back.
I liked it. To be honest, I didn't quite understand how to play with the multipliers and stuff, but that's likely on me. Maybe if you had made a tutorial I would get it and spend a lot of time playing after, but then again, it must be that I'm not familiar with this kind of game. I read the description and you said it works like other games that I haven't played, that's why.
I liked the music, the sound effects are great, the animations perfect.
I don't know if it's my fault, but sometimes I don't have the card I need to enter a new round, like when he asks for pure hearts. Maybe there is some mechanic I didn't understand.
Overall I think it's great, I'm just slow.
Hey thanks for the feedback and compliments! :) I didn't have time to make a tutorial, so I'll try to edit the explanation in the page description to be clearer.
Regarding the issue about the pure hearts, I just checked and it's unfortunately an edge case I didn't rule out, so it's a soft lock and the game has to be reset - sorry about that.
