Quick thoughts before the rating period ends:

+ The art and music are amazing

- I have no idea what's going on with the story.

+ Lovely music, too

- Poition and Magic Water? Really?

+ I love the custom front view battle interface

- I do not love the default battle skills. I wish they were more in-line with the theme.

I stopped playing before I got to the end so I could write this review, but there were too many characters all at once and the battle system didn't seem to have much thought put into it; the art and music, on the other hand, are fantastic.

Custom art was definitely the biggest draw. Static cut scenes were awesome, battlers were cool, especially the actor's that appeared. VN style portraits are always a nice touch.

Story lost the most points for me. I think I understood the broadest strokes, but the huge assortment of characters and very fast scene changing lost me very quickly. It felt like a story that could have been told with about 1/3 of the characters, and at a certain point I was too confused to really pay attention to the story.

Combat was passable, but I want to see more from this dev! At this point, I know I can spam attack and pretty much get by. I really would like to see combat introduce choices that matter, and something more than elements, and status up/down moves. I look forward to something truly different next game.

Alright! So I gave this game a try! And I had fun! And its amazing to see once again an improvement on Rose's games! <3 The art style is cute and I dig the CG arts during emotional and other important scenes!! :D The story was indeed quite fun, the characters were delightful. And I enjoyed all the plot twists happening here and there with the Alien enemies and how they're trying to puppeteer everything! The battles were very simple and basic RMMZ turn based, and it was great as far as balanced is concerned. And you took SB's advice to heart on making the main char stronger in levels since she happens to be more experienced that the rest of the part! So big kudos to that! :D I also love the music you used which fit perfectly on a lot of the scenes. :)

Though tbh, I kinda wish I could see more about the alien threat, but it is to be continued! So I can wait for that! :D Looking forward for more! Great job, Rose! ^_^ Once again, a nice a game packed with JRPG elements as always from you. :D
