Interesting.... I like it

I finished with 60 fuel! After the first few boosts I realised that trying to control my ship was hopeless (it's so fast!) so I employed a daring strategy of just flying through space full speed until the asteroids eventually crashed into me, mwaha!

Nice entry - good take on a classic and a nice twist!

This was a cool (and unique as far as I know) concept. I spent at least a minute trying to chase down that last asteroid. Awesome submission.

Thanks! I'm glad you had fun!

I thought the idea was really novel but there isn't much to discuss with this game because its so simple (not that that's a bad thing, its very polished for 100 minutes). My only real issue was the game was that it was really difficult to control the player and I ended up just letting the ship float around because you don't lose fuel but you maintain your speed. That feels like a flaw in the idea for the game. However, the game is pretty good and I won with 84 fuel remaining.

Thanks for the feedback! As for control, I went for the original feel of Asteroid, which definitely let you go into the seemingly endless space sprawl with the physics it employed. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Cheers!

I like the idea. I'm curious: What would have been the player loss condition if you'd had time to put one in?

When I played, the loss condition was when you ran out of fuel you had to restart.

Developer

Thanks! As Jordan noted, running out of fuel gives you a game over.

... right. Serves me right for commenting late at night. That makes a lot of sense.

No worries! It's easy to miss since it's not noted in game (until it happens, anyway).
