As I've been redoing most of my old reviews, I got to this application. I originally thought about skipping it but I decided to try this out again. Unfortunately, I think I'm only going to use this for just playing games and nothing else.
I've always wanted to get into game development and I thought that this might an easy app to program in but I can't for the life of me understand how to get a game working in this. I even tried using the code from the built-in "hello world" application as a bases to start learning but that does things that aren't mentioned in the documentation on GitHub and it's confusing me greatly.
I also thought that I might be able to use it for art, since I've also kind of always wanted to do that too. But unfortunately, while this application is probably the best pixel art application available for Linux I've scene so far, I have no artistic talent either.
The last thing I want to say is that, despite not being able to do much with it, I used the Linux version and it seemed to work well. I did consider trying the android version but I didn't find any games I thought would be worth playing on android. I might update this review again if I do find any games I'd want to play on android.
