Would be a 2.5 if this site allowed it.

It has one major problem, the writing is not good.

While in some games you can read past that, that doesn't work because this game is mystery focussed. And badly written mystery becomes confusing and irritating.

Emotional moments don't connect, plot points feel like they come from nowhere, characters reactions can seem random at times, and it genuinely feels like the characters with the answers are just being obtuse for the sake of it.
