Tangled Blessings has been such a special game to me ever since I backed it during its original crowdfunding. I was immediately enamored by the premise, a journaling ttrpg based in a magical dark academia setting with prompts based on tarot card with a focus on academic rivalry. Since then, I have played through the game throughout different mediums, from running it as a casual one-shot for my ttrpg group in addition to writing the longest piece of fiction I have ever completed (185 pages / 70k words!!!). The system is so elegantly brilliant, with the prompts being so evocative for mystical scenes with the basis of the tarot to weave an interconnecting narrative. I have gotten so much inspiration from this game, and I look forward to my second playthrough where I can use more of the expansion book (especially now that I have the gorgeous physical copies of both books!) Thank you so much for giving life to the magical world of Brackroot Academy and letting me day-dream about angsty rivals.
