i went in thinking it's a cozy little game and got so pleasantly surprised by how emotional it became. the details are amazing! literally everything being covered in snow within a minute including when you lie down, the little sound of snow falling off when you get back up, the music synchronising with the breathing and both intensifying when dragging the sled for long, the river flowing when you look down the hole on the bridge, the fire going off once you reach it, certain paths where you can only go without the sled … and the first-person running is incredible. i thus abandoned the children in the forest not knowing that i couldn't return, but i love that you can still lie down in the snow and it's first-person view. it's very beautifully angsty and the art style really adds to that ambiance. thank you for making this!
