Alone the simplistic visuals aren't much to gauck at, nor are the puzzles but that's not what really what this games selling point is, that would be the video that plays on loop in the back which does a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to atmosphere but is not sole barer of it, enhanced  by the black and whit aesthetic, limited vision, and overall granny look the rest of the game has. It excels at setting a mood and keeping you in it, this just right level of unnervingness that most games in this genre carries and which it hits oh so well.  This game knew its strengths and ran with them, which is always great to see.
