I already left my main constructive criticism in the survey, so this time I'm just going to fangirl gush, because my fellow otome fans need to play this demo for themselves. ;)
I really love the art style and the slice of life vibes with a good amount of mystery that kept me in suspense from start to finish. With plenty of friendly banter to lighten the mood. This made for a good balance between comedy and drama, which is what I love to see. The characters all had unique personalities and were all likable to some degree, though I feel some got more time in the spotlight than others. I am very curious to get to know all of them better.
Seth was my personal favorite, but Matt is close second. I feel like those two had strongest connection going with the MC right from the start. Rico I didn't care for much at the beginning, but I liked him more once Matt stepped into the picture. I loved the friendly banter (and the fangirl in me would really love to see a poly fidelity ship between Matt, Rico, and the MC ngl hehe ♥).
Nix I feel we didn't get to know well enough for me to form a proper opinion. He felt flirty, but also kind of sus. I don't know how I feel about him based on this demo alone.
The MC I honestly didn't care for day one, because I thought she was going to be a sterotypical "damsel in distress airhead" protagonist (which is a trope I really dislike personally), but thankfully the writing veered away from that after day one. There are moments where she stands up for herself (or at least has the option to do so), fighting her own battles as opposed to waiting for "prince charming" to come save her. Side note: I love the puns and her facial expressions. They were both comedy gold. xD Overall I really came to enjoy her character as well.
I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this one. I sincerely enjoyed this and would love to see a more polished demo and of course (eventually) final product! But—now that the jam is over—be sure to take your time. This already has so much potential, yet I would love to see it shine even more. ♥
