I was really looking forward to this release as I LOVE LOVE LOVE good society and its expansions but as i'm reading it this just feel like... emma expansion? but bad instead of amazing? why are there castles if they don't mechanically DO anything? why replace tags with bosom sins?? SINS? I get that its basedon religious wasp writers but like... why then is it trying to do anything else other than tell those stories? the chokehold that religion has on this game makes me not wanna play it. also like why aren't there playsets-its just a facade of freedom in a playground while not making sense as a tonal story-it makes it too broad and doesn't work at doing what it says it wants to do. ALSO huge problem with how indigenous and jewish people are talked about in this book-like that whoooole section about immigrants is SO tone deaf like come ON. and in what world is a mexican american considered deep-rooted in f*cking NOVA SCOITA?? super disappointing and hope never to see anything by this writer again, hope the next storybrewer's project recaptures the magic of good sociaety.
