I was pleasantly suprised by Selfish Hope.

At first glance, i was worried this was going to be another My Wolf copycat, but there are a few things that set this VN apart.

I really appreciate that the VN features a couple already in a relationship, albeit early on. A lot of VNs tend to focus on initiating a relationship, which I think tends to have more tropes established /  is easier to write and keep interesting. 

CGs were really nice as well. Although the sprites were a little unpolished, the expressions were pretty good.

I feel like the plot felt a bit short, looking at the narrative as a whole. The dream scenes didn't really seem to lead to anywhere, and I think I would like to have seen a little more daily life / challenges of daily life from the two protagonists.

All aside, a very cute game jam game, while a little short and rough around the edges, shows enough promise that i'll look forward to future projects from this dev.
