quixote.chic rated The Dust of the Violet Crystals

A browser game made in HTML5.

Horror’s my weakness and when it concerns flesh eating listless humans, I’m sold. But in all seriousness, I’m a sucker for first POV angle in a RPG game equipped with an inventory and impactful choices that matter, especially when some of them are timed. I’ve downloaded it on my iMac. Smooth gameplay throughout. I’ve got to say that it has an excellent user interface. There’s this sad creepy music that is deeply haunting and it’s my favourite track so far. Then again, the selection of music in this game builds quite the atmosphere and I’m loving every second of it. There’s memorable interactions in this story which make me feel more invested in the characters. This game has an intriguing storyline and beautiful graphics and those are also reasons why I love Corvaena’s work so much be it visual novels or artworks. I’m a huge fangirl and I have obsessed about her other stories such as Telvoikai and Vogvhathos where the level of world building is just wow and Corvaena created a new language of her own. There is another story I have yet to touch properly on and that is Eyes of Rain. It is only a matter of time that I’ll read it and I’m sure that it is equally as brilliant as the other stories that she has written. I can go on and on but let’s come back to “The Dust of the Violet Crystals”.

In a nutshell, “The Dust of the Violet Crystals” is incredible. I wish I could have given this ten stars instead of the limited max of five. I’m looking forward to more visual novel games from you.
