This is a thinking man's NSFW game.
For a NSFW game with plenty of lewds, this one goes the extra mile to be a deep game that's also about struggling with unspent emotions and unprocessed pains as well. How do you deal with the fact that you lost your best friend/lover ? How do you go on surviving, and not only that, go on living ?
It's certainly not easy in a city filled with politicians and police and mobs all competing for a piece of the pie - in this case a prestigious school where a new headmaster is taking over. You're him.
It sometimes plays and reads a bit like a cliché, but at the same time it is not. Headmaster in a school full of young girls is a cliché, some of the results are cliché, but that just 20% of the story. It's so much bigger.
The author plays with visuals and text, and together they make the story work. And it IS a story, not just some lewds.
When you suddenly read a sentence like 'For I'm trying to speak with our souls'... and it isn't somehow the least bit corny but hits you like a battering ram, you know you are in it for the story as well.
The story is not finished, and this creates a fear... This is sort of like a good book that you are halfway through and a fear arises: you hope the author gets it done. That he/she keeps it going, and that there is a satisfying conclusion to the book or the game. That it won't end on a cliffhanger, or a quick text at the end, or head in a box or sacrificing the MC for the greater good cos he's 'evil' (I'm sick of those).
Here's to hoping that LazyBloodlines gets the story out of his/her head and out to us in the way it is meant to be told - and that it is resolved. LBL: Thanks for bringing us this far, hope you can manage the rest. I'm rooting for you, and for the MC. And all the girls. Give it your best shot!
