I don't get why people think writing underdog stories, unironically, is something good.

The protagonist is literally at rock bottom, does nothing to be better, and waits till something magically makes him stronger...

Here is why stories like this stink so much: Everyone in the story is stronger than the MC for no reason. It doesn't matter if they are friends or foes; everyone is stronger than the MC. Even the guy who is our friend, he's not only strong but also super rich. What the hell is this?????? 

By the time the story picks up and the MC gets buffed, you've already experienced 80% of the game. It feels like the MC's only purpose is to be a meat bag where 99% of the characters inside the game, punch to pass the time.

It bothers me a lot when you get trashed by random people completely unknown to the player. What's the point of writing such a lame story when everything revolves around fighting? If I play the game correctly give me the choice to beat those people and get a different outcome, give me choices and endings, for god's sake... Making scripted games is a thing of the past, Mass Effect taught us that. This makes FF13 look good. That says it all.

The MC feels like a ghost that's only there to watch others be the driving force of the story because, without them, the MC wouldn't have done jack shi* about anything. You feel useless 99% of the time, period.

The most jarring thing about this game was that most sex scenes are from dreams... WOW... 

Who wrote this, a virgin in his mid-40s????? Such a wasted potential...

The only good thing in this game is the art and nothing else. The engine sucks (Unity), the story writing sucks, the gameplay sucks, the plot sucks, and most characters' attitudes toward the MC, also suck. The gameplay also sucks, but I won't even talk about that. That's a rant for some other time. 

Also, why is everyone so hostile and belittling towards us? Is infuriating...

Underdog stories stink; stop making them a thing. I don't enjoy playing a game where I get trashed all around by people I don't even know their names. 

The art is the only thing that carries this entire clown fiesta, period.
