I don't even want to talk about how good this game is, if someone who hasn't played the game is reading this, go play this masterpiece now.
I said I didn't want to talk about the game, the thing is, I will do it out of sheer respect for the maker.
The aesthetic for the game was amazing, this goes for every game JordiBoi has put out to this very moment.
The voice-acting made was great, this made the game's story and characters feel really ominous at times and a lot more interesting in general.
I feel the story is amazing, the inspiration being a conversation had at New Years Eve is so specific yet it feels so right for a story like this. The story ended on a perfect note, my thoughts were the same as the ones portrayed in the conversation at the graveyard.
The game always left you at a specific moment after a cutscene were you would be involved with the situation the protagonist found himself in, this detail made the experience a lot more intriguing and made me take a lot more focus on it.
The lighting is something that has an impressive effect on this game, the sky is almost always dark until the player is close to the end of the story.
This fits how the protagonist feels through the game, being very invested in a serious investigation about a killer, night-time is usually how these topics are shown to us in media. When the plot's twist occurs, the sky is suddenly consumed by daylight. The way I understand this detail and why I think it is so important is because I think it is reflecting how the protagonist feels, the anger he felt towards the killer kept him up at night until he realised who he truly was and the motives he had. The following event to that scene leads the protagonist to feeling numb instead of angry making him feel like every day will be equal, thus making the last days of the game "just another day" to him.
I am ashamed I played this game without spending a cent on it, 10/10.
