The Autumn Sale starts this Wednesday, plus Creator Day on Friday!

Creator Day Banner

We’ve got two exciting events coming up this week that you won’t want to miss. First up is our Autumn Sale starting Wednesday, November 27th at 10:00 AM PT, running for a full week. Over 7,400 projects have already joined in with discounts across games, assets, and physical games.

But that’s not all - this Friday is also our next itch.io Creator Day! From midnight to midnight Pacific Time on November 29th, we’re not taking our cut of sales on the site. This means creators get an even bigger portion of sales than usual.

When the Autumn Sale starts you can browse all the deals at itch.io/sales, check out personalized recommendations based on your interests, or see what’s on sale from creators you follow.

For Creators

Want to participate in the Autumn Sale? You can set up your sale now to be included. The sale runs from November 27th at 10:00 AM PT through December 5th at 10:00 AM PT.

Remember that Creator Day on Friday means itch.io will be waiving our marketplace cut on your sales for that full 24-hour period!

Enjoy!

The sale date form when clicking on the "set up your sale" link formats the dates in a format the form can't read, so the sale cannot be submitted unless you change the date to a different day and then back again

It throws the following error:

Errors:

  • sale: start_date: expected timestamp (YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS)
  • sale: end_date: expected timestamp (YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS)

I'm excited to see what goodies are avaialble for a good price this week!

Yikes good catch, I’ll get a fix or shortly. We updated our date picker widgets since the last sale
