Hi all! Michael here.

I'm going to teach you how to embed your 3D models from Sketchfab into the forums and your game pages! It's a couple steps. You can sign up for Sketchfab if you haven't already, it's free. A couple cool features to note are animations and annotations. See those example models below.

  1. Upload your model Sketchfab.com.
  2. Copy the full model url from the search bar in your browser.
  3. Paste the link within the text editor on itch.io and press enter.
  4. That's it!

Animation support brings your models to life. Learn more about it here.

Annotations help tell your story or point out key points on your models. Learn more about it here.

Now do all the things in Virtual Reality (VR)

With the release of the new VR button, Sketchfab is now the easiest way to publish and view your game assets in Virtual Reality. Of course Google Cardboard relies on having a mobile device, so there's that to keep in mind. To help you get started, we've created a tutorial on how to create content specifically for VR on Sketchfab.

P.S. We're working on better Oculus support. Expect news on that in the coming months.
