My Game doesn't appear on the search bar after 3 days of publishing!

It was almost three days since I published a paid game and it's not indexed on the search bar! I had read that it usually takes 12 to 24 hours for a moderator to inspect the game, and that if times get longer than 24 hours, I should've asked here to understand what the problem is!
My game is: https://doctorhummer.itch.io/spear-of-despair

Not sure where people keep getting those figures, I always say 24 to 36 hours, but that's an approximation. Your game has been out for two days according to the More Information box. It would likely have been approved later today in any event, but it doesn't seem to have any obvious problem, so I gave it a bump. Hope this helps.

Hi, I didn't want to start a new thread but I guess just piggy back off this one for the same issue, maybe slightly different. I published 6 days ago..  my game..  https://hbobiwan.itch.io/ninja-arcade  I just wanted to find out if there is any problem I need to be aware of?.. even though I'm sure you guys will let me know if there were, I just wanted to check back, thank you.

Please do start a new thread, we ask everyone to do that, every time. After 6 days, it's probably safe to say your game was probably overlooked by mistake, so I gave it a bump as well.

Thank you very much, and sorry about that.

I’m not sure where people keep getting those figures either, but I thought I’d look it up.

Getting indexed on Search & Browse -> Publishing vs Indexing -> Getting Indexed seemed like the right place for it. Towards the end of that paragraph it reads:

[…] There are also some scenarios where your page must be viewed by a moderator before it can be indexed. The most common case is for new sellers: If you’ve just created an account and you’re selling your first project, then your published page is placed in a queue for review. We generally review these the same day projects are published. […]

(I guess that’s where the 24 hours came from.)

[…] There are a few other automated checks (eg. our spam detector) which may delay your page from being indexed, but are generally pretty rare. If you find your page isn’t immediately indexed, then we ask that you wait a bit before reporting it. […]

While “a bit” is kind of future proof for this kind of page, it also would make me personally ask “Well, how long is ‘a bit’ then?” after waiting for about 24 to 36 hours - depending on how hard I worked on my project before finally releasing it, I personally would get antsy the next day around noon. I’m relatively new here, but given the frequency of these kinds of threads seem to appear lately, maybe that site should receive an update with some harder figures along with a ”…and please allow for X days before contacting our support team about the missing entry.”.

I’m not trying to run anyone else’s site here. It’s just a suggestion.
