Can the original creator sue me?

Even though you would never know what the original was before the distortion unless I told you.

Thanks :3

Of course he can.

If the work came from a copyrighted piece, then yes you can be reported and your game will possibly be removed, and possible the original owner can sue, assuming you earned profit.

Even if you think work is not recognizable, it’s possible for the creator to “dig a little deeper” and confirm if its their work or not. You would need great effort to successfully hide copyrighted work, or distort it so its unrecognizable, but also make it still sound fun. At that point, you may as well make your own art, so you won’t have to worry about your game being taken down at any point at all.
