Nowadays in Italy the COVID-19 virus, commonly called "coronavirus", has widespread  and several population centers and some affected regions have ordered the closure of schools and gathering places. Me and some friends live in a "near" area to the first city to be touched and we wanted a way to exorcise the paranoia and panic generated by the pandemic and its media coverage, transform it in something creative. Not an attempt to ridicule or trivialize a real event, but our way to cope during these particularly frenetic days.

From this idea comes the #DecameronJam. It lasts 10 days, it's been live since yesterday, and asks you to write an analog game inspired by Boccaccio's Decameron or by its themes. It's open to ITA and ENG submission and will have a community evaluation style.

All rules are well written in the homepage of the Jam: https://itch.io/jam/decameron-jam

You are all welcomed to join & design with us!

I’ve already joined it and ended my first writing of the game. Let’s see if I can refine it before submitting it.
