WHY My Project is Still Not Indexed [word - Dungeons]

So, why hasn't my project been indexed for the keyword "dungeons" yet? I finished and published the project a long time ago, but it hasn't been indexed. I specified several keywords, but that didn't help either. I looked at similar threads, and the moderator there said they'd check it and speed things up. I'm simply asking for my game to be found in the search on the itch.io website. In principle, I consider my thread valid, as it's been about six months and still nothing. I find my game interesting and develops reaction and control accuracy with both keyboard and mouse.

here is the project  Dungeon by paveloid1982

I read the rules; they say moderators don't always respond, but I still hope they'll check in. This is a community topic. I honestly don't understand how the community can help me in this delicate situation, since they can't manage the platform's resources.

P.S. I was losing in my game after the 5th troll. I don't know who can get to the 10th?

Your game is indexed.

I don't want to seem tactless, but where?

Search results for 'dungeons' - itch.io

Search results for 'dungeon' - itch.io

Search results for 'troll' - itch.io

Search results for 'trolls' - itch.io

Excuse me, but by what tags?

You're confused.

Being indexed means your game is included in the search results on itch.com but  your game have a too generic name, and a lot of game with "dungeon" are shown before your because they are ordered by popularity.

Try search by yours user name "paveloid1982"

You're right about that. But people will search for games not by the developer's name, but by the game type. Isn't that right? For example, what tags do you use to search for games?

There is no such thing as keyword search with the search bar. It searches literal. The titles, devloper names and sometimes the short description tagline if there are not enough results. Results are capped in search at about 60.

There is tag browsing. That's not a search. You just display all games that have that tag. Those are sorted by popularity by default. So you would use your keywords as tags.

https://itch.io/games/tag-dungeon

https://itch.io/games/tag-troll

But beware, those tags might not be used the way you think they are. Seek similar games on Itch and have a look what tags they use.
