Itch.io domains for sitelock

Hi,

I already sent an email to the itch staff but never got a reply.

Someone have a list of domains that we should use in order to sitelock our games on this site?
There is an old post about it but with an outdated domains list (I think outdated, because I've tried sitelocking some games but it never worked).

Thanks in advance,
Alessandro

I've never tried to do this, but looking in devtools it seems like web games are loaded from a CDN with the domain v6p9d9t4.ssl.hwcdn.net, so maybe try whitelisting *.hwcdn.net?

Thanks, I'll try that!
I hope it works! :)

please also add *.itch.zone to the list. We currently don't use it but we may in the future. Also we'll be adding an auto-sitelock tool in the future as well!

An update for people who happen to come across this topic: We deployed a global javascript-based sitelock a day ago that’s automatically applied to all HTML5 games.

If your game is loaded with an invalid domain, it replaces the game with a banner that encourages to viewer to go directly to your itch.io page. It should help capture traffic from the sites that have been trying to steal itch.io CDN urls up until now. Thanks!

If you have an issue or any questions about it, please post here: https://itch.io/t/614172/sitelock-update
