Looking for a team to make a rage game.

I’m a C# programmer looking to team up with a group of creative people for a quirky little game project.

The concept: the player controls a floppy character by moving each individual limb with their mouse. It’s intentionally ridiculous, tricky, and a bit infuriating — in the best way possible.

Here’s a link to a super rough early demo (warning: it’s frustrating to grab the limbs right now, but that’ll be refined later): AstroNot by A Duck

I’m looking for:

  • 2D artists - currently have 0

  • Game designers - currently have 0 (there are some programmers with game design experience)

  • Programmers - currently have 4

  • Basically, anyone who wants to contribute and have fun with a weird idea

We also have 1 music composer.

I’m not asking for a huge time commitment — I just want to gather a small, enthusiastic team to make a fun, silly, and slightly enraging game about a wobbly space person.

Hi, I'd love to join as a programmer. I have experience in Unity and C#.

Great, could you send you discord?

Yeah,no problem, sorry for replying so late I was busy with work.

my discord is:  .nahid98

Sent a discord friend request but you can also join the server with the link, comment if the link stopped working.

This could be done in a custom game engine or the unity game engine depending on what the team decides. (Pretty sure the decision is monogame)

Hi, If you looking for a music composer , I propose my service :)

Hi, we already have a composer but if you still want to join send your discord username or join via the link in the post.

are you looking for a writer? and is it paid

The game is not gonna be heavily story based so no, it's also not paid.

ok thanks for letting me know

A little bit of design critique: the controls are terrible. usually in a rage game, the controls make sense, are easy to figure out, but hard to master. But in your game, I couldn't even figure out how to get past the first block in five minutes. I don't know how to fix it, but difficulty in grabbing the limbs is not the problem.

The body is draggable, and it allows you to hook your legs and arms onto the block. It is definitely an important thing to know; this is also a demo that took me 30 min to make so it is heavily unrefined with no though put into teaching the player the contols and balancing the early game. Do you think that these change anything?

also thank you for your feedback .
