The body is draggable, and it allows you to hook your legs and arms onto the block. It is definitely an important thing to know; this is also a demo that took me 30 min to make so it is heavily unrefined with no though put into teaching the player the contols and balancing the early game. Do you think that these change anything?
I am in the same place as you, this is a chill project, work at your own pace, here is a discord server link if you want to join: https://discord.gg/xaCczauN
I’m a C# programmer looking to team up with a group of creative people for a quirky little game project.
The concept: the player controls a floppy character by moving each individual limb with their mouse. It’s intentionally ridiculous, tricky, and a bit infuriating — in the best way possible.
Here’s a link to a super rough early demo (warning: it’s frustrating to grab the limbs right now, but that’ll be refined later): AstroNot by A Duck
I’m looking for:
-
2D artists - currently have 0
-
Game designers - currently have 0 (there are some programmers with game design experience)
-
Programmers - currently have 4
-
Basically, anyone who wants to contribute and have fun with a weird idea
We also have 1 music composer.
I’m not asking for a huge time commitment — I just want to gather a small, enthusiastic team to make a fun, silly, and slightly enraging game about a wobbly space person.

Hey there!
I'm working on a 2D zombie survival game called The Great Revealing. The project already has a little bit of progress, and I'm looking for chill, creative folks to join the ride.
This is a relaxed development – contribute what you can, when you can. Your work will be genuinely appreciated. If the game ends up getting published, everyone involved will receive a fair revenue share. If not, hey, at least we had fun building something cool together.
Here’s who I’m mainly looking for:
-
Programmers – especially someone with a knack for smooth and satisfying movement systems.
-
3D Artists – yep, even though this is a 2D game, I'm rendering 3D meshes into sprites à la Dead Cells.
-
Sound/Music Designers – atmospheric audio and impactful effects can really bring the world to life.
-
Devlog/PR Writers – if you like documenting progress and hyping things up, I’d love your help.
That said, if you’ve got a different skillset you think could add to the game, feel free to reach out!

A video of current progress:
This is the repo with the test effect: https://github.com/TheCoolerDuck/Duck-s-Final-Pass-Jam-25.git. Keep in mind that the effect for the jam will be more complex and different from this effect. Also, this effect lacks commenting and error handling which will be in the jam's effect.
Hey there, the effect will be compatible with unity's standard render pipeline, and it will be a post processing effect so it will be done after the camera is rendered so it should be easy to use, I'll quickly make a simple effect so you get the idea of how it would be added to your project and used.
Hi there, I'm a graphics programmer that wants to do some extra small work just to build a portfolio, I have countless hours of experience with shaders and I can also make compute shaders so if you need that something extra with a post processing effect but you just can't make it or if you need something so complex that it needs a compute shader hit me up on discord at aduck1753 or comment in this post. Some on my past work includes:
- A degrading shield system where the shield wears away as it is shot.

- Some work with a simple volumetric cloud shader (it has some small light banding issues).
- A 2d fog shader, a 2d Water shader, and buoyant object that interact with the physical world and the water.
Hope I can get to work with you soon.

Oh boy, I think the scope is a bit big there. Also that game would no only require highly skilled graphics programmers but 3d artists as well, finally there are quite a few details you left out such as game engine, current team, and what you will be doing. I’m sorry but it just feels like you are asking random devs on the internet to make you a triple A game so I don’t think many if any people will join you.
I am looking for a team that can help me make a 2D rage game called AstroNot, in this game you player as an astronaut trying to make it to his rocket ship but the catch is that you must move every limb individually with the mouse and it is meant to be a funny and infuriating ragdoll game. I am open to anybody who can add to the project, but I mainly need:
-2D Cartoon artists
-Unity Programmers
-Unity Game/Level Designers
-SFX artists
A small demo can be found here AstroNot by A Duck and If you are interested my discord is aduck1753 or you could respond to this post and ill friend you.
Hope I get to work with you in the future.
hello there, i'm a VFX / graphics designer and an ok programmer so if you want me to help add a specific style to the game, add some game mechanics or possibly even do some simple work with volumetrics hit me up at aduck1753 on discord. It should be said that i only work with unity so if that doesn't work for you sorry.
