Hi there, I'm a graphics programmer that wants to do some extra small work just to build a portfolio, I have countless hours of experience with shaders and I can also make compute shaders so if you need that something extra with a post processing effect but you just can't make it or if you need something so complex that it needs a compute shader hit me up on discord at aduck1753 or comment in this post. Some on my past work includes:

  • A degrading shield system where the shield wears away as it is shot.

  • Some work with a simple volumetric cloud shader (it has some small light banding issues).
  • A 2d fog shader, a 2d Water shader, and buoyant object that interact with the physical world and the water.
Hope I can get to work with you soon.

Hi! I saw your post and I’m really interested in collaborating. I’m currently working on an indie horror game and looking for skilled individuals to join our team. We need someone experienced with shaders and compute shaders, as these could greatly benefit the visual effects we want to implement in the game.

If you're open to it, I would love to discuss the details and see if we can work together on this project. You can reach me directly on Discord at cloudxst.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

hey duck, you could do a procedural drawing stylised fire for 2D with more complex features for unity, stuff available on unity store sucks, 2d implementation of enflame is not so bad but still its miles away from greatness: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/vfx/particles/fire-explosions/enflame-fire...

drawing one here is awesome but its not procedural so no wind or trailing during its motion - effects can be used with it ;/  for a torch for example, or bonfire: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/vfx/fire-assets-for-vfx-03-251429
