So we have a section to post and sell our games and section to post and sell our assets. I think we need a section to post ans sell tutorial or instructional material.

I am a teacher and have made several video tutorial on Game Maker Studio. I also teach Photoshop and could do some tutorials specifically for create game art in it.

What do you guys think: Should we have a tutorial section added?

Just for clarification, you want to use project pages as tutorials? Or you'd like to write tutorials using something like our devlogs/blogging tools?

Not sure which one would work the best. A normal project page would be fine and you could post links or download videos/files? Just like we have different sections for games, assets, books, physical games. It would be nice to have tutorial sections people could buy or donate to for content creators.

Would the section for books work? People sell all kinds of things there, even zines.

Maybe. I was thinking video tutorials with a dedicated thread. I know a lot of novice devs could use these.

Ah, for video content we don't have a suitable section, that's true. You can always embed it from YouTube and the like, but where to put it is a good question. Do your videos come with downloadable course material, by any chance?

Yes. The idea would be to have starting files to follow along with the tutorials.

Perfect! Then you can make each tutorial a project (filed under Other), with the video in the sidebar (or even in the main description) and the starting files provided for download. It's not an exact fit, but should work. You can even use the custom noun to call it a video tutorial.

Yeah. I could see the existing project page functioning without any changes.
