Fishy 🐟

Hello folks, I just finished my second run and I still couldn't trigger this string. Does anyone know where this "Fishy" line gets displayed? Thanks a lot!

You can investigate this kind of thing by looking at the source of the game (game.zip). The comments at the end of the line in the translation file tell you in which file the line appears (in this case rooms/collector.moon). It's a LOOK line, so it appears when the cursor goes over something (but it's possible that it only happens under certain conditions, which looking at the source can help you figure out).

Oh, that's very useful, I'll go and investigate further, many thanks!

Hi Chiara, if I'm not mistaken it should appear hovering on the poster in the Nineties, when you realize that it's "unusual" (trying to keep it spoiler-free).

Hi F3rus, confirmed, I just went back to check and it appears when hovering on that "fishy" specific part of the poster (but only once you're allowed to get closer, when examining it a second time). I'll leave a spoiler picture hosted here: https://prnt.sc/q-yocavfS4iN

Thanks for your help!

Don't mention it! ✌🏻

Heartbroken it's not an actual little fish. Thanks for investigating!

Soo… fishy as in suspicious/weird, right? Because yes, a guitar pick glued to a poster is a biiit weird 🤭

Oh..noooooo! Spoilers!!! I’m soooo sorry!! In my attempt to be exact, I said too much!!🫢😥😬🫣

Eh eh, I guess that by that time we all knew what it was :D But yeah, I believe that's exactly that kind of fishy :)

Incidentally, there is an actual fish in the previous Ines game.

You mean in "Uncle Lee strikes again"? Or the FIRST one, "Once upon a Möbius strip"?

"Once upon a Möbius strip" (which is actually the second one, but it's a prequel)
