This probably has been asked before, but I think it would be amazing if there was some way to support legacy content. There's so much material/games that are just being lost forever. Maybe someone is supporting it, but I don't see it. I think itch could totally do it!
Best,

Admin

we still support unity webplayer and flash game uploads, and we haven't changed anything about project pages that would break them from running (assuming you have a browser setup to do so). Did you have something else in mind about supporting them? Personally I'm looking forward to when someone builds a fully functional javascript swf runtime, so we can let those games run on modern browsers without any plugins

I meant in the app! Yeah, I could play them on a functional browser.

The safest way to play those games right now is running them in a standalone sandboxed barebones minimalistic browser process.

If I want to play those types of games I just download the SWF files and run them in a Virtual Machine ;)

are they really that dangerous? are there are any browsers you recommend?
