Uploading HTML5 game made in Clickteam Fusion

I'm having trouble getting my game made in Clickteam Fusion to upload. It's zipped (using 7zip) and has an index.html file, as explained on the help page, but when I try to run it in the browser (Chrome, for me) I get a "no file provided to embed" error message.

I tried to upload JUST the index.html and just got a blank box, which I assume is because none of the pictures and all were uploaded.

I've never done this before so help is very much appreciated! Thankie :)

I sounds like you didn't tick the box where it says "this file will be played in the browser" after uploading. Your game archive is probably fine.

I don't see a box that says that.

It's under every file you upload to a game with the type set to HTML5.

Under Kind of Project  when you create the game page here, you need to select HTML.

Then once you upload the file, you'll see the box: This file will be played in the browser.

Your zip needs to contain:

  1.  Index.html
  2.  The folder you specified in Clickteam Fusion  (that folder will contain the music, .cch files and .png files.

I'm not seeing  it - I took a screenshot in case I'm missing something. Thanks for helping :)

It's higher up than your screenshot is showing - Kind of project.

The problem could be that you're using a 7z file. Try to use a zip file. On a Windows PC you can just right click and select compress zip file.
