How to use tag alias in tag description?

I've seen a lot of redundant tags that mean the same thing, with minor variations in spacing, capitalization, and abbreviation. How can i apply them as aliases to a central tag like this?

Admin

Can you explain in more detail what you’re trying to do?

Generally speaking, you should prefer the “suggested” tags, and avoid using additional spellings, as our system is built to push people towards those tags through discovery: https://itch.io/docs/creators/quality-guidelines#use-relevant-tags-prefer-using-suggested-tags

Ahem.

Look.

You see that on the linked page? Click "Aliases...". I want to use that, in a updated description for some tags.

So I guess this question just got forgotten about, huh?

You can’t.

Then how the heck does the alias on the RPGMaker tag even exist? Someone had to write it, and users can write a new description to suggest an update. So where did it come from?

Well, from the admins, I bet.
