In the beginning, there were three Gods - Mesea, Astrild, and Oriax. These Gods had the power to use energy and manipulate it. This way they could create anything. With enough power and knowledge, they could even create an entire universe. And they did. But after some time they saw that the empty universe is meaningless. So, after several attempts, they created life. Small one-cell organisms that after some time started to evolve in something much more. And after few million years, evolution created first humans. As the most advanced living organisms, humans developed a second layer of energy in them. This energy was known as soul and even after the death of a human soul would continue existing. This overcrowded the world so three Gods decided to create another world called Peklo and transport all the souls without the body there. Some souls were stronger than others and even had a consciousness. So the first angels were born from them. Some of those angels even become the right hand of the Gods. These strong angels are called Guardians and there is currently nine of them at the time the game starts.

I started working on a third area for #BeyondRetrieval called NEW EINGANA. Also, this beautiful creature with 3 wings, 3 heads and 4 rotating heads (deer, wolf, cat,  and owl) is a new guardian called Hamei. :)

#BeyondRetrieval world contains 9 resonating soul figures. If you manage to find them all you will unlock the most powerful magic in the game that will allow you to summon Pandora demon :) You can find one of those figures in a Beyond Retrieval demo which you can download and try it out on https://mmmfree2dwindowsgames.blogspot.com/2017/10/beyond-retrieval.html

In #BeyondRetrieval you can get items from boss fights. But, besides that, there are 3 more ways you can get a new weapon, talisman or blood stones.

The first way is from chests which you can find all around the world. This is the easiest way of obtaining the item. All you need to do is to get closer to the chest and you will get a new item :)

The second way is from blue crystals. You can break these crystals and get an item from them only if you have a silent bell talisman that can create low-frequency sound.

And the last, third way are white spheres that will regenerate itself after every damage. In order to break this spheres, you need to hit them as fast as you can and give them no time for regeneration. The best way to do this is to hit them with weapon and magic at the same time and create a combo that will break them.

In #BeyondRetrieval player is going to be able to control 3 characters. Each with his own unique weapons.

Tagaro will deal a lot of damage with his swords and Holler will hit enemies and reach items from the distance with two-sided blades. So, what weapon uses the third character - Ilok? Two-sided scythe. With this weapon, he can hit enemies that are behind him, as well as in front of him. :)

Just want to let you all know that Beyond Retrieval development is going very smooth :) The reason I don't post the news about Beyond Retrieval more often is that I am currently working on a very spoiler heavy content. I started making a new area for Beyond Retrieval. With this area, the main quest is going to be over. The only thing left after this is two big side-quests (20 optional boss fights and 2 new areas). Beyond Retrieval is a metroidvania game. So Player is going to be able to explore 10 locations. Each with a unique boss fight and at least one side boss. Player will control one of three playable characters (that can be changed at any time). As for the items, there are 109 blood crystals, 45 weapons (15 for each character), 15 magic, 20 key items, and 9 secret items.

I have to apologize. I wanted to post #BeyondRetrieval final trailer this week but as I started recording footage for the trailer I started discovering unexpected bugs and some small problems with a game. I am working extremely hard these days on ironing #BeyondRetrieval. Game is almost done but there are few more things that need to be done. I managed to fix several bugs and change the location of some items so the player can progress in the game more naturally. Also, I will try to improve backgrounds in some location so they can look a bit better :) All in all, the game is shaping up really nicely. More new information coming up next week.
