2,5D, 3D and (to a much smaller degree) pixel artist. Primarily for buildings (eg for strategy games) but not just that. Very small fee.

Hi, I would like to post some of my works (the following are mostly for the game Civilization III), to show my abilities as 3d modeler and renderer, and also isometric/2d,5 artist :)

5 medieval-era city sets

(Abbasid/Byzantine/French/Japanese/Aztec)

Five ancient era city-sets

(Chinese/Mayan/Persian/Greek/Celtic)

A 3d model of another Byzantine church (the holy Apostles, in Thessalonica)

A 3d model of the Hagia Sophia (Constantinople)

Last but not least, you can check my library of gfx in the Civilization Fanatics Forums (roughly 280 files) : https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/another-graphic-library.237006/#post-5794...

If you see anything you could use, or if you wish something new made, you can contact me,

I am interested in providing/creating gfx (or 3d models) for a small fee.

You can find the working .png files for the medieval sets in the preview here: https://gumroad.com/byzantinemaker

Regards,

Kyriakos :)

My WIP of a render of my own model of the Hagia Sophia, the monumental medieval Greek (Byzantine) cathedral.

Made - as always - with Blender :)

you can do pixel art 2d?

I started as a pixel-artist, so yes, i can. Though i would now approach it (if the graphic is large enough) by first rendering a model, and then touching up in a 2d editor :) What kind of graphic do you have in mind?

u can do like this?

(2 edits)

That depends...:

1)what is the actual intended size the sprite is shown in? (I suppose the one in your gif is enlarged a few times?)

2)do you only need character gfx (and animation)? Or also (larger) objects and/or locations?

"1" is the more important, here; I mean if you use a set pallette then it isn't hard to have rendered gfx look very similar to those made pixel by pixel from the start, but I will need to know the reply to "1" and "2" :)

i didn´t say if u can do that sprite, i want to say in general,

make a sprite of this

in stand stance, idle stance

Sadly no, that one is highly stylized pixel. Looks very nice :) But yeah, it isn't close to the style I have...
