i'm in the process of making a horror game ,but right now i need inspiration tell me your craziets ideas and you get a shotout

Hi, I'm Ofihombre. Do you need an idea for horror game? What do you think of the idea of a parasitic man who always follows you silently for 48 days as if he were your friend, and at the end of the 48th day at midnight, he turns into a monster that devours you?

Got an idea, a survival horror where everything in your house is alive and wants to kill you. Tldr, after a long day shift you come home and get attacked by a chair. After that, the next multiple nights are spent trying to protect yourself from the living, probably fleshy and toothed furniture while keeping a sound meter low so your don't wake your neighbors (it's an apartment). So, you either have to barricade yourself in some safe area for an amount of time (which would be super boring but reasonable) or kill the furniture quietly and quickly with knives or punches or whatnot. Could be a single night that's the game; just have the sound meter get more and more sensitive as the night went on. You could also have several noise complaints under your belt, so making too much noise could get you kicked out or get the cops called on you which both would mean the player lost. Oh, and the furniture could bleed everywhere so you could name it "1-Bedroom Bloodbath" or something.

My horror idea is : start your game in normal situation: sky is bright, player's movement and abilities are normal, enemies are easy, lack of traps just to name a few. However, after 5-10 minutes into the game, change the situation drastically: sky is dark, lighting is dimmed, player moves slower and is weaker than before etc.

lack of inspiration is something that does not exist .. you are just thinking about things that are too difficult for your skill level.

I can recommend you watch some movies, tv series.

I like a lot American Horror Story season 9 VHS. It is about, eighties. So lots of eighties style. Puprle colors, rock music, disco. Billy IDol - rock star from 80s. VHS. So it has a style. You can try Season 10 Red tide. It is also very ok thing! You can watch Lady gaga in American Horror Story, her appearence. I don wathed it. I have a fear of what Lady Gaga doing somethins, you know!!

I watched, in a nearest time, movies Triangle, Blood Vessel. Also ok! 

So just go for relax, and watch some movies, to get the ideas!
