Hello, i want to upload my game but the site doesn't allow it. How can i do?

Game size: 3.5 GB :(

Make your game smaller.

Seriously, there is good no reason for an indie game to hit the 1 GB limit.  There is barely a good reason for even AAA games to hit the 1 GB limit.  Final Fantasy VI is just 3MB.  (That's 0.3% of a GB).  Does your game offer more gameplay than Final Fantasy VI?

Heya,

You can contact support and they can potentially up the upload cap on your account: https://itch.io/support

I believe you do have to make a compelling case for it, though, and explain why your project may need the increased cap and if you've made the necessary effort to squash the filesize down as much as possible beforehand!

My impression is that the limit gets increased to 4 GB very easily, but further increases beyond that is a lot harder.
