VAT (VATMOSS) number of Itch.io Company to pay taxes from sold stuff

Greetings,

I would like to sell my games and other stuff using itch.io, but I must, as a taxpayer, to provide regular invoices for my local tax authority with VAT (or VATMOSS or anything similar like tax number) and full company name who is sending money to me (no matter if money were sent directly to the bank account or via 3rd parties). I need such information to declare my monthly income legally.

I asked twice itch.io Support Team to clarify this question - 3 weeks have passed after opening ticket, and I still have no answer (my request number is 104007).

Thank you so much in advance and for any possible help.

Hello,

If you’ve received any payouts from us then you can download a Receipt of Payment on your dashboard’s payout summary page and the current VAT number and business details are listed on the bottom of the document.

If you are using direct Payments, then you are the merchant of record through Stripe or PayPal, and itchio does not provide you with tax documents.

Hope that helps

Got it, thank you so much for the information!

I've let an admin know.

Thank you!
