Too many files in zip when uploading game?

I tried to delete all the useless file in my browser game, but it would not be enough. "Too many files in .zip 2260>1000".
I really need to upload the entire zip file! The file size is not that big (170 MB) and it's pretty fast to load. I tried to contact support but nobody answered and I REALLY need to upload this game ASAP! Can anyone help me? I'd be really greatful.

Have a good day everyone.

It looks like you have the game running on your account now.

For future reference, and to any others reading this topic, we have details about why we have such limitations: https://itch.io/docs/creators/html5#zip-file-requirements

We strongly urge developers to consider a downloadable version of their game if their game has reached a certain size. Just because an engine supports web export doesn’t mean that type of distribution makes sense for the given game.

Thanks

No, the only way is to get the limit lifted for your game, and only support can do that. When did you contact them?

I sent them an email yesterday. I know it could take longer but I really need to have my game uploaded by tomorrow...

I don't want to create any issues but this is a private project for a university assignment and I'm desperate..

Given the circumstances, I've let an admin know, but in the future you should probably plan things a little better. Good luck with your assignment.

Thank you so much!!!!!!!
