I'm unclear on whether or not the opening night of Minotaur Hotel and the morning after is the end of the story. It doesn't feel complete, but I was given a score already of Platinum Wolf. I'm just a bit confused and would love some clarification.

Nope, we're about 2/3 done, we'll be releasing the rest of the story eventually in future builds.

not to sound greedy, but... any idea what the ETA is? next january perhaps?

Developer(+3)

No idea, we haven't even started work on it. We'll only give information on a release date when we're close to finishing it.

Oh good! Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. You guys have been do such astounding and amazing work on Mino Hotel, I've been following you guys for awhile but I had only just recently downloaded MH and I'm disappointed in myself for not doing it sooner. Thanks again!

I mentioned before how some media would have treated that like a finale.  Well I also brought up how most of those expect you to buy the book for the rest or something.

... Wait.  2/3rds?  Already?

I think a lot of people are used to monthly release schedules for work in progress VNs. So when we wrap up our builds at the conclusion of a specific plot point and then go months without an update, it's understandable that someone that is used to VNs cutting away somewhat abruptly when the 10k word quota is met would think that the game finished right there.

(Mind you, that's not criticism towards that release model, I'm all for VN devs getting paid for their work and our way of doing things is really fucking hard to monetize.)

Yup, at least for the main story, we'd like to wrap it up over the next year and a half or so. It's very easy for projects like these to go on forever and we'd like to keep the scope of the game manageable. However, we'd still have lots of side content to add (R&D projects, side routes for the other characters, additional endings, etc.) so I wouldn't say the game itself is 2/3 done.
