Can other users see what I rate other games?

I'm a game dev myself, but I enjoy playing other games. I rate them as well.

But, on games that are bad or trashy, I give them a 1-3 stars (as you do). The thing is, is that people are coming to me and giving my game a bad rating because I rated another game badly. I can confirm it since it's commented on my page before the rating. So. My question is: How are these people seeing my rating? I don't leave a comment with it, so I don't know how they know.

If you suspect someone rated your game out of retaliation, that’s against the rules, and you could possibly report those reviews, or maybe contact support.

Having said that, I think reviews you give are public. I haven’t looked around a lot to confirm.

Hope that makes sense.

Yes. I just found out its my followers who can see them. Reporting the reviews don't do shit. Ive had about 40 that I've reported and none were even looked at

You can also disable ratings/reviews for your game, which may seem like overkill, but it seems to me on itch.io they're not very visible anyway and I'd rather people post on my discussion boards.
