I recently bought a bundle on itch.io and had downloaded a number of games I planned on trying out. I found out about the client and thought that would be much easier to navigate than just a folder, so I downloaded it. Only none of my games showed up, even after adding the folder location to my library. I tried scanning and they still wouldn't show up. It said nothing was found.

However, after downloading other games directly from the client, those are showing up. So I'm not sure what the issue is. I would just redownload them all, except I have some progress in some of the games and I'm worried about losing that if I have to redownload the games. Any idea what I should/could do?

My versions are:

itch 25.5.1

butler 15.21.0

itch-setup 1.26.0

Very unfamiliar with this app, so at a loss of what to try next.

The app only supports library directories that have been created by the app. It can not discover games you’ve downloaded through your browser. If you want a game to appear in the app then you will have to download it through the app.
