Why have I got many more downloads than payments?
I understand that some users might have lost the download and have had to download the file again but some downloads ( for one payment ) are in double figures.

Also if someone wanted to copy the file once they had downloaded it, there is no need to download another copy, so I am puzzled why I see these figures on my stats.

Your  views on this would be most welcome.

I think it someone just downloading the same file more than once.

Could be a shared account also, this should show up if you check how many times each account has downloaded the file.

I agree with Arekku, many users download the same file many times. I have seen it happen with my game, some users purchase the game, and within 5 minutes or less download it two times... its unusual but it happens.

I had a user that downloaded one of my games a dozen times a day. After three days, I asked him why, and he told me it was because he has an awful internet connection that keeps breaking down. Maybe this could also be a reason why.
