This is probably the dumbest thing, but i'm new here.

It's been more than a week since i created my page and i still can't see it from another account, but i can see the page of my published games.

I suspect that you haven’t configured your page to go public.

To confirm, go to “Edit Game”. On the very bottom there are some radio buttons below the title “Visibility & access”. “Draft” means the page is only visible to you. “Restricted” means you can authorize people to view your page (usually to show your work to reviewers/friends before it’s published). “Public” will make it visible to everyone.

Massive warning: If you set the game’s page to “Public”, everyone on the internet will be able to see it. Make sure you’ve finished working on the page before selecting this choice.

If you mean your creator profile, there's a big message on it that says why:

This page isn't available right now
This page needs to be reviewed by a moderator before it can go live. It should be available shortly. Why? In order to prevent abuse sometimes we need to delay publishing a page for additional review.

You might want to contact support and ask why it's taking so long, but that's another story.

That's the problem but sent an email to  support@itch.io like 4 days ago, no answer.

Currently, answers from support can take that long and longer. The only thing that can be done about this is that users (not referring to you at this point)…

  • read the FAQ before they send requests for support
  • use the forum search to see if somebody who had a similar problem could get it fixed with a little help from the community or its moderators
  • think about what kind of additional information the person in support might need
  • present their situation in a fashion that wouldn’t make their old English teacher’s heart explode
  • and be kind to the person working their case! (They didn’t cause the problem. And a motivated worker does better work than a demotivated one…)

My guess would be that the current slowdown is caused by users who didn’t even think to do at least one of the things on this list or are even intentionally spamming support because they are angry that they didn’t get a button that they were at no point promised they would get.

Sorry if that was too much information for you. My bottom line is: Nobody has forgotten about you. It’s likely that they did not get to read your email - for reasons out of your control. I wish you that your ticket will get resolved as fast as possible.

Indeed, as of late support has had to deal with a lot more requests than they can handle, and I try not to bother our admins except for issues that I know have priority (because they're also busy people). Sorry it took so long. Looks good now!

Thank you :D

So, you know how I speculated about what might be the cause of the support and admins being so swamped…?

I’ve got a hunch what might be the cause…

My sincerest condolences to all itch.io support members, admins and moderators. Nobody deserves this happening to them…
