Thanks so much! We appreciate the love!

PLEASE COMMENT BELOW AND BUGS YOU FIND AND HOW TO RECREATE IT IF YOU FIND ONE!

Thanks so much!

Absolutely perfect art style and I love the use of slick. Very creative!

Wow, the graphics and animation are incredible. It reminds me of Buckshot Roulette. I was confused on which weapon was rock/paper/scissors at first but figured it out.

The smooth animations and graphics are the bomb (no pun intended). The sound design also fits the game perfectly. Really solid game.

I loved it, reminds me of PvZ Garden Warfare especially with the shoulder aiming, cosmetics, and the sound effects when enemies get shot/die. I think some extra polishing would help a lot, just simple things like on-kill particles game objects, or a reload bar for reloading. Really awesome to play there's a ton of potential, especially if you ever look into adding multiplayer :)

Thank you a ton for playing and the feedback :-) we tried to put most of our time in animations/lighting to nail the smooth card game action

Thank you for playing! Definitely will check out your game

Thank you so much! :) We're hopeful for a Steam release but definitely have to iron out all the bugs, make the gameplay more how we want it (a ton of features had to be cut out), better animations, graphics, etc. Maybe add an endless/rogue-like mode too.

No problem glad to help!

For this jam we tried to keep gameplay simple enough to put on a sticky note or two, otherwise it becomes too daunting and buggy. For our first game jam we went pretty heavy on mechanics and players ended up confused and frustrated with bugs the whole time. This jam went a lot smoother, we nailed the gameplay loop early on and focused on animations/graphics for most of the jam. Once you have a strong simple gameplay loop it's a lot easier to expand on it with later additions, upgrade systems, etc. Rather than trying to go all-in with a full web of systems at the beginning. This also helps a lot with the player understanding it too, games feel much more fun and gratifying when they slowly introduce mechanics vs. when they slam you with everything at once. I really love your driller frog concept, it's creative and you could have a lot of fun animating it with the drill bouncing up and down like a frog or something, and maybe the frog picks up gems with his tongue.  For artists you can try looking for a friend who's good at art or check out the Big Mode discord, they have a huge busy chat for linking up with other people based on their talents.

Thanks for rating our game it's super appreciated :)

Thanks for playing and the feedback! The fold hitbox is larger than intended. We initially wanted to have the player drag up their cards to avoid accidental folding but ran out of time.

Thanks so much for playing our game, and we're glad you were able experience the voices and music we worked on!

We've fixed a few bugs that made the game unbeatable!

Perfect example of good level design. I learned everything about the game in the first level without a single box of text (besides the first control of E). We need more games like this that are easy to learn without feeling like I'm being dragged by a leash.

Love the concept, and I enjoyed the upgrade system.

Super slick once I got used to the controls. Also, love the volume slider as the first thing you see.

Super fun to play and the playdoh sprites are beautiful

Pretty slick and creative, I loved the intro cutscene and music. Some extra animations on the cube would have made it feel way better to move around and play, like some bouncing animations off the walls and an animation for when you press an arrow key to move. It was definitely fun!

Neat idea, I think some clearer direction and simpler mechanics would have helped. It's very heavy on the gameplay systems with slots, wallet limit, damage, oil, block digging, but it feels quickly thrown together instead of planned out. Limiting the amount of mechanics would have freed up time for other lacking areas like artwork and design as well, especially for game jams when there's not much time.

Loved the music!

Thank you a ton! We love the feedback and really appreciate you playing our game.

There was a last minute bug with Big Slick that's fixed now in the HTML version. Fair warning though, he won't go easy on you!

Thanks so much!

Thank you for playing! :)

Thanks so much! We intended for each boss to have their own unique cheat, but ran out of time to properly implement and explain them in game.

THIS was so original and awesome, I loved the puzzles and wish there were more types of them. I only encountered a small bug with the game saying my keys were being pressed when they weren't, but pressing it reset it. I loved it and the art was awesome

My high score was 680 seconds and I had like 1500 keys pressed

The movement with sliding and jumping around enemies was fun, it felt smooth to play

I love the art and sun burnie is awesome but the movement is frustrating to learn. I was stuck in the beginning hole for half an hour

Very art style. Very palette.

What is Diddy Blud doing on the calculator

Interesting, but i wish the bot was a bit better at the game. Also, idk if them moving their king after checkm8 is supposed to be them cheating or not.

pizza planet is pizza perfect!

Super fun to play. The slick movement was very slick and slick.

Thanks! :)

Thank you!

Fixed a major looping bug at the beginning and several other bugs.

Our official submission to the BIG MODE Game Jam 2026, any and all feedback is appreciated!

Highly recommend playing this version instead of the zip, let us know if you can beat Big Slick! ;)

Hey, thank you so much for all of the feedback! We enjoyed reading your comments very much, and it is nice to know somebody actually played through the whole game despite all the bugs :) . We've watched many of our friends encounter the same problems you mentioned (difficult controls, bugs, etc.), so it's pretty funny to see you experiencing the same things we saw our friends go through. I think we poured a little too much time into stuff like the cutscenes rather than polishing out the play experience, lol. We'd love to see any gameplay footage you've recorded.  Anyways, it's great to hear you loved the game and enjoyed breaking it. Thanks again for the detailed comments!  - Logan
