I agree 1000%, I didn't understand (originally) how to play audio ques and allow restart once finished, so instead I decided to go the route of only resetting after waiting for the length of time that longest sound que was (which was 6 seconds). I should have actually just shown people that you could manually reset with R, but I only put that in the desc.

That was actually awesome. Perfect fit for the theme.

Definitely the best use of the concept I have seen thus far.

Art style is pretty unique! Very well done!

Pretty fun actually! Map design plays in well with your mechanic!

I have reported you, and all of your posts, for spam. It is not cool to go on and provide ZERO feedback to other people and just spam people to vote your game.

That was a really neat. Finished the game out. Only thing is I wish the laser was a bit more "satisfying" to use.

Art style is lovely, as usual! Solid expierience, really loved the feeling of taking off for flight.

I agree with Andrezj, pretty interesting idea!

Pretty neat!

Enjoyed then game quite a bit!

Thank you for your feedback! Never actually developed a game by myself before this one, I will look into fixing that up. It was about double that the first go round haha. I will check yours out!

Hello fellow devs, I am wanting to announce something here. I am sure there are some lurkers looking through this that aren't really participating in this event. If you are a fresh dev who hasn't actually made a game but want to, join a freaking jam.

I have been studying game development for weeks now, and could never really develop any of my own ideas before joining this event. Joining a Jam gives you a sort of guidance on what you need to do (as you have a set theme) and it allows you to narrow it down. I will say, I thought this theme would be quite difficult for new devs, but it really opened my eyes. I did take a bit of a different turn with it, but I know I tried my best and definitely learned A LOT about the game making process throughout. I am happy to say this was my first ever game, and first ever game jam that I have made / participated in. I would 1000% do this again, even if I am ranked the lowest out of everyone.

For anyone who wants to look at the game, here is the link to it.  https://winclark.itch.io/scienceisfailure I'll be looking through everyone else once the review time opens up!

I want to thank you Jonas. This was an amazing experience and I look forward to next years already!

I see.

So I just beat the game, but I am kind of confused. Where did the progress = failure come into play?

Ohh yea, 100%. I was saying that in the comment because when it clicked I was like, ohhh that is awesome lol. Good job!

I completely forgot about the theme here, so when It kept saying success and I had to redo it I was like.... Wut.... Lol. Awesome game, and great adaptation of the concept! I didn't get super far, but I got far enough to realize you did well!

Works like a charm for me! Good game.

Visually very interesting, but I find it hard to figure out exactly what I am supposed to do or how I am even taking damage.
